All About Me
I grew up in Troy, Michigan which makes me a Michigander at heart. I come from a large family, containing two brothers and two sisters. One of my brothers was adopted from South Korea which made for an exciting childhood. I moved to Illinois to get my teaching degree at Augustana College. After College, I decided to move to Chicago to begin my teaching career.
I have lived in Chicago for 17 years and reside in the Edison Park neighborhood with my husband, Phil, and our three sons, Landon (11), Harrison (9), and Duke (6). As a family, we enjoy talking walks, playing at the city's wonderful parks, and cooking together. I enjoy reading and gardening, along with baking. Spending time with my family is the most important thing to me.
